Am I OK to install AVG 8.0 Now?

I am running vista and have been getting the reminder to upgrade to 8.0. I have been holding off until any problems have been ironed out.

Do I press upgrade from the reminder or something else.

Advice greatfully received.

Thanks

I thought it was alright, but not great.... had it running with Linkscanner / surfguard etc turned off, as this was unecessary bloat. Really depends on hardware... If you have a quite modern dual core setup >1Gb RAM, I'd say probably go for it, (I would have, but I'm on an old Athlon 2.8Ghz, so I reverted to Avira... slightly faster but no real-time protection.)

Install Avast as AVG doesn't do realtime HTTP scanning.
