Hello
I am looking for some carpet tiles to put down in my garage, I already have some in there so need about another 12. I am not bothered about the colour or anything like that.
I have searched and searched, Im all googled out! But the places that offer them for a reasonable price also charge a huge amount of postage!
Has anybody had a good deal on carpet tiles recently or knows of anywhere I could get some cheap carpet tiles from?
Thanks for your help

I got some from B&Q cheap for garage there budget range think they were around £1.50-£2, very easy to lay and cut with a sharp knife but be careful I almost cut my end of finger off if it wasn't because of my nail stopping it0

Thanks Poppycat, sounds like just what I was looking for! I dont think they had them on line when I looked, so I will have to pop down there.
I hope your finger is OK!0 -
ask on freecycle or exhibition unwanted bits0

I did have a look on freecycle and there wasnt anything there, I dont really like to ask for anything on there as I always think that if someone wants to give something away they will post it on there anyway. I get the freecycle emails and there always seem to be so many people asking for ridiculous amounts of stuff, it just seems to go against the point of it?
But good idea, thanks for that, I think it is just me being silly!0 -
I got some carpet tiles from freecycle a while back but they weren't right for the area I wanted to do. Dont know where you are but if you''re anywhere near my location you'd be welcome to them.
Failing that, ask on freecycle ............you could well be lucky. I've got rid of stuff and found stuff that way. Good luckMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
