There are many advantages to renting property, it's just that everyone's been brainwashed into believing that homeownership is right and it is their right. For many people it's not the best option at all, but they are just so convinced owning is better than not owning they don't even stop to think the options through properly.0

Or for some of us actually we really would like to own our homes and are prepared to wait till the right moment to buy, sensibly.
My mental health cannot cope with renting, the uncertainty, the possibility at any given moment of having to find somewhere else, or the idea of a house share (been there done that for 6 years and can take it no longer). Seriously it would be a health issue for me to rent on my own; it may be different if I had a partner to support me. So for now I'll just wait till I can buy and then it will be MINE.0
