Ok in a bid to make this friendly again (I missed the cause of the anger earlier)
But I do have a very high IQ
I also rent
But it's social housing
Erm where does that put me?
:rotfl:
Is the first allowed with the third... ????????????
I don't have cashmere sheets or linen sheets or 1000 thread count sheets, though I do have sheets. And we don't always use them for decorating now, since joining MSE, I have learnt you can also put them on a bed!!
I don't have an Aga (I thought he was already spoken for, I have a Mr Baileysbattlebus)
Now, what I do have is .........Stereos
1 system in the study - never gets turned on
1 system in the living room - rarely gets turned on
1 system in main bedroom - Mr Baileysbattlebus tries his best, I think it's meant for "mood music" - rarely gets turned on !!!!!!
1 system in spare room - to drown out the noise from guests who are in the mood - it would be impolite to say if it ever gets turned on.
1 system in garage - on most of the time, Mr Baileysbattlebus uses the garage like most men use a potting/gardem shed - I can't imagine why.
With 5 bedrooms, I do realise on the stereo front, we have some way to go before we can reach the highest echelons.
I also have a son who could probably beat Mewbie in the language stakes.
And didn't someone make a film about what DH Lawrence did in the desert?
Wasn't Lady Chatterley with him? When Mr Baileysbattlebus showed me the film he go from somone at work.........0 -

We have a dishwasher
I have 2 degrees and a post-grad diploma
I rent, though, so like you, I'm chav scum
You have a washer/dryer, the absolute height of chic and sophistication, I'll have to speak to Mr Bbb (I'll do it when the stereo is on in the main bedroom).
It's no wonder you have 2 degrees.
I'm finding it hard to keep up with all the advances in technology, I really don't have a lot of time, I have to dust the stereos.0 -
OK, I am outed! I have a tumble drier that has lived in a cupboard for years. Dreadful consumer of electricity are those things. Ah but a dish washer, no. Here`s a new slant tho. I bet pikeypink aint`t got a Hammond organ, and 3 other expensive keyboards tho. So where does that place me?0

Sue - We could be twins!! Well, apart from the very high IQ (I know I have one somewhere I just forgot where I put it
)
I have a bread maker - does that make me higher up the chain?
:rotfl:
In an earlier post (#95) I said my neighbours were scummy with no respect - yesterday one of the children drove his scooter down my driveway, parked it in front of my front door, popped round the side and had a wee against the side of my house. Lovely eh?! :mad:Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £80,748.41 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £205 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £207.94 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £1,406.55 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -

Oh, I have one of them in a box (unwanted gift). I would be prepared to swap this for a soft furnishing item if any one wants it. (The duvet swap was a success):rotfl:0 -

Ah, but do you have an organ for every room (think that could have been better phrased
).
This is where we fall down on the stereo front.0 -

I have a bread maker too! Mind you, it's in the shed :rotfl:
Regarding neighbours - Now bearing in mind I am chav scum for living in social housing - My neighbours actually own their house, both work (bringing in ooddles more money than me - what they get a week I get in 2 months!) but they still felt it neccessary to steal 3 of my garden chairs from my patio, kick holes in my fence, destroy a garden feature (ok that goes with the stealing of the chairs as they damaged the feature when nicking the chairs!), pee in the kids paddling pool, rip the kids paddling pools and have parties until 4am in the morning.
Erm which one is the chav? :rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Mind you, NDP, your family have lived EVERYWHERE it seems - except near you.
What? Bizzare comment.
As far as I remember, she grew up near (or in) Dulwich, and her parents have a Kent house and a London one. Not all that odd in my eyes!
And the fact that she doesn't live at home any more and has her own family give her parents the right to live where ever they feel like!0
