I've just got a new Acer laptop and when trying to view iPlayer etc in full screen, the screen is just blank but I can hear the sound. I can't seem to work it out so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Thanks

Try downloading the latest version of flash player from : http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
and also update your graphics card drivers- this really depends on the model of your laptop, so try Acer's site, in the downloads / support section. Alternatively, if you know the type of graphics chip you have, you can go directly to the manufacturer's website (it'll probably be Intel, Nvidia or ATI)Russia is HERE0 -
Thanks for the info.
I've tried itv and I can view their programmes in full screen? Why does that work but not on iplayer and some others?

as vyseyboy stated, simply update your version of flash with the link provided.Rules, Rules, Rules .....0

I've updated flash player from the link but still can't view in full screen.

I thought it was just me that couldn't watch full screen! I've updated as per Vyseyboy's instructions, but it still didn't work.
However, after looking through the help pages on BBCiPlayer, I have found the solution for my Windows Vista laptop, so hope this helps...
Go to the BBCiPlayer & select a programme to watch.
Right click on the "Click to Play" box.
You should get a box pop up, choose settings.
Ensure the "Enable hardware acceleration" box is unticked.
Click on "Close"
Play the programme & click onto full screen.
This worked for me, so good luck!
