I applied for Halifax CC with 0% BT for 10months.Card arrived sometime mid August but i only activated it 4 days ago (21st-Thusday) when i requested online banking as well as a BT.
Password arrived on Sat-23rd, and today- Sun i registered online to see that my next payment should be with them on the 26th (Tues) of this month.
Now, this doesnt give much time especially with Bank Holiday Monday for my payment to reach them. (takes 3-5 working days).
Can they do that, really?
Any help and info is much appreciated.
Thanks

Does the online area tell you the payment amount, or does it say £0.00?0

Yorkshirboy, i see what you mean. It says minimum payment required 0.00£
Oh, i though Im gonna lose my offer of 0% if the money doesnt reach them by the 26th. :beer:0 -
The account would have been opened before the card was activated. The 0% period starts when the account is opened. Quite often cc companies will let you do a balance transfer before you have received (and therefore activated) the card. Activating the card is merely to prove you are in possession of it - not to open the account! Tha statement would have been sent about a month after the account was opened.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0
