Rog~How did it go on Fri? well I hope?
Hi beanie - the interview went very well, thanks - it was the second interview and was with the General Manager, who was very pleasant and 'down to earth. It was a bit more 'probing' than my first interview, and he did say that I appeared to be exactly the sort of person that they needed.
We discussed money, of course, but he was still a it 'vague' on the overall 'package' as they have ben operating as a company without a structured sales force since their formation back in 1994 - they are, in spite of that, very succesful in that they have a unique product, and currently turn over in excess of £3,000.000 a year without having to 'push' their product.
The one thing that has left me a bit puzzled was his final statement that' If it was not with his organisation, then he was sure that I would be an assett to any other company'.
I'm probably reading too much into that, due to my naturally 'cynical' nature.
He told me that I would hear within the next ten days as his objective was to have an effective sales team 'up and running' by the end of September.
So, whilst I wouldn't dream of 'counting my chickens', I was happy with the way it went - we shall see.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
