Hi
I am thinking about opening a Flexible Saver Account Issue 4 (6.25% gross p.a.)
anyone have any experience with this bank

    Well, it does seem to be a 12 month offer, with the rate reducing to 4.74% AER at the end of the term, so that's a bit of a switch off.

    I did have a current account with them, and I felt that their telephone customer service left a lot to be desired. Otherwise they're OK.

    Egg are owned by Citibank and seem to offer a similar product at 6.3% fixed for a year.

    I would only be looking at them for the 12 months unless anything better comes along.
    Agree with you Hazzanet the phone contact seems a bit remote/cold/ possibly not a UK based call centre.

    Been a customer for a while.

    Overall they give a very good service and I recommend them. Yes, their call centre is based in India and can be frustrating at times but no bank is perfect.

    Good Internet banking, which is very user friendly.
