Well, it does seem to be a 12 month offer, with the rate reducing to 4.74% AER at the end of the term, so that's a bit of a switch off.
I did have a current account with them, and I felt that their telephone customer service left a lot to be desired. Otherwise they're OK.43580 -
Egg are owned by Citibank and seem to offer a similar product at 6.3% fixed for a year.0

Thanks Guys
I would only be looking at them for the 12 months unless anything better comes along.
Agree with you Hazzanet the phone contact seems a bit remote/cold/ possibly not a UK based call centre.Martin0 -
Been a customer for a while.
Overall they give a very good service and I recommend them. Yes, their call centre is based in India and can be frustrating at times but no bank is perfect.
Good Internet banking, which is very user friendly."Brevity is the soul of wit and it is also the essence of effective communication" Rush Limbaugh.0
