Hi
Hope some one able to advise.
How do you know if a Company is a member of a 'Professional Body'?

Is there a website that we are able to check?
Thanks

Hi
Cutting a long story short - we had a flat roof repaired along with our attached neighbours. The quote given was verbal ( Yeah I know) from the guy arranging the work. The 'men' did the work and we had a leak in our ceiling following that....
The damage to the ceiling( needs re-painting)
carpet ( was very wet from the leak)
beddding ( needed replacing as stained)
Now had the bill and non of the above has been accounted for despite the chap being shown the damage.
Not sure of next move really.
Not too happy at moment.
Thanks for replying though

Hello popbubble

I'll move your thread to 'The (Consumer) Vent' board.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
