Cannot access Internet

When I try to access my internet home page (orange) via Internet Explorer I am getting a blank screen with the message "internet page unavailable".
When I type in a new address in the address line (ie bbc.co.uk) I get the message "invalid address".
My wireless connection is working as I am able to access my emails from the internet via outlook.
Any suggestion or advise on how to solve.

Firewall update blocking access, maybe?

Could be a firewall issue.

Open up command prompt:

Start > Run > type cmd > type ping www.bbc.co.uk to see if you get any response.

Also, try using Firefox:

www.mozilla.com/firefox/

Everything now working again so must have been the firewall.
