Just bought a Wii and trying to connect it to our Dual drf2810 (model TV). For some reason when connecting the Wii to the Tv it will not find the AV settings. The remote for the TV does not work so we cannot use that to manually select AV.
Any other suggestions.

Does the TV not have an input select button on it?
If you are connecting the Wii with the composite video lead/scart adapter then it won't switch, you have to get the RGB lead which is available as an accessory.

or get a new remote:

We will try and get the connection tomorrow or go down the route of a new remote. Thought there might be something silly that we are not doing.0
