Boiler installation and bathroom works

Hi, I've just had a quote of £3113 inc vat to install a worcester 28i junior boiler, remove water tank and associated pipework and re-route some central heating pipes from being visible in the kitchen, to running under the bathroom floor. The quote also includes running a new gas supply to the hob.
We had budgeted £2k for this work, which may have been optimistic! I'm waiting for another quote to come in. I have also asked the plumber to let us know what the 'fit only' costs would be. Have people found that it helps costwise to source their own boiler?
Thanks in advance, Ruthie

depends where you are?
here in the NW you can get a new boiler fitted for 1500 quid.
the extra work should be approx 500 max.
you can double those prices in say london?Get some gorm.0 -

Good afternoon: See my comments on this recent thread . Many CORGIs will only supply and fit (reasons have been discussed on this forum a few times;) ). If you want to go down the 'fit only' route discuss this with your CORGI first before purchasing anything.
