Very well done, BH. Again, I hope that the wording of their acceptance is correct, and includes the words 'Your offer will be accepted in FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT'.
That is, probaly, even less than my creditors will have received out of my bankruptcy.
Good news indeed.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

DFW Nerd # 166 PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS0 -
that was me wasnt it Fatbelly???? :j how do i work out the %. balance was 11,500 and they settle for 6k, so thats bout 52%??, im no good at math, thats why im in debt!!!Who was the debt with?
I am getting the impression that there are some good F&F deals to be had at present. Another thread mentioned BLS were giving good deals on LTSB debts.
Could it be that the credit crunch has affected the market price that bad debts change hands at? Would it be worth having a sticky to compare F&F deals like the credit card board has for unofficial balance transfer offers?DFW NERD....560
