Usage Monitor

Hey
I'm aware of a number of usage monitors, but with Virgin Media's fairly complex traffic management rules, I was wondering if there was any software out there where you could specify time slots and usage limits to match those for VM's traffic management?
At the moment all I can find are monitors that let you specify limits for a day, or set a stop watch etc. If you could specify the details (limit and time slot) of the traffic management and leave it to alert you when you are approaching those limits, then that would be great. However I think I'm probably asking for too much lol
Thanks in advance
Andy

I use this, absolutely fantastic

It gives you warning when it thinks you may exceed your limit and can even guess how much you will use within 30 days:dance: I am great , yes I am
:rotfl:If you think I was useful , Thank you, for thanking me

thanks guys, I've tried those and a few others, but what I'm after is something that allows the user to input periods and limits for those periods and be notified if you come close to the limits. At the moment all you can do on those meters is select to monitor a day, week, month etc0

Sorry but you have to right click ont he bottom right icon and then click options.
From there you can set your usage limit and what date it should reset ( the date you get your new usage) , then as time goes on it will warnings
Hope this helps:dance: I am great , yes I am

hehe thanks, I've already tried that bit of software and it only notifies you of usage per day/week/month.
Virgin Media's traffic management sets out different usage limits for different parts of the day. So what I'd be looking for would be something where I could input the traffic management periods and limits (eg 4pm - 9pm - 2.5gb download limit) and have the software notify me when I am approaching those limits.
I think I'm probably asking too much, as I I don't think there is any software out there capable of doing thismaybe somebody could prove me wrong :j

Get yourself the dogs' danglies download manager here and simply schedule your downloads to occur to fit in with Virgins traffic management rules.
:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

hey expresso  I already have a download manager and already schedule any big downloads for 'out of hours' times so as not to hit any limits quickly. The monitor I'm after would be something to sit in the taskbar for peace of mind.
I'm actually looking at one at the moment called 'bmextreme', but everywhere I try to download a trial from activates my AVG virus scanner into telling me there is spyware presentit's a shame as that bit of software will allow you to input caps for different parts of the day which is ideal
