Yes it will. And you can also do Save As in Open office and save it as a word doc so that other people can open it easilyworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

Yes it will and you can save them in Microsoft format once you've finished editing also.0

Office 2003 no problem. Office 2007 more problematic. For the current 2.x versions of OpenOffice you will need to install a translator program. For 3.0, which is currently in late beta, you will be able to open the Office 2007 documents without any additional software.0
