What type of life assurance is it (level term, decreasing term, renewable, convertible, FIB?)
    guaranteed or reviewable premiums?
    smoker or non smoker?
    clean health or medical conditions?
class 1 or 2 occupation or higher risk occupation?
What addons are included (i.e Critical illness, waiver of premium etc)?
What is the quality of the life assurance you have (i.e. is there guaranteed insurability options, payouts on certain events, terminal illness cover included F.O.C. etc)

Without knowing about the policy there is no way to tell if it is competitive or not.
