New boiler quote - advice please

We have just had a quote for a new boiler. We have been recommended to go for a Keston boiler because there is only 0.9m between the flue and the house next door. The quote included removing the existing boiler and making good the hole, removing the header tank and pipe work from the loft space. the quote was to supply and install a Keston Qudos 28 condensing system boiler, flue kit, an automatic by pass and a magna clean. The system would be flushed and filled with inhibitor.
The quote came in at £1974 inc VAT. Having had a quick look online the materials would seem to cost about £1000 The plumber kept saying what a quick and easy job it would be and how it would only take 2 of them a day so I was quite surprised that labour would seem to be about £1000
Does this seem reasonable? Any advice gratefully received!
Are there any other options for boilers with an outside wall so close?
Many thanks

Seems like a lot to me. I had a new boiler installed, 2 new radiators installed, a gas cooker installed and a back boiler and hot water tank removed for £2500. And he wasn't the cheapest.
I would get more quotes and advice from other trades people if I were you.0 -
When you say you have priced the materials at £1000 what exactly does that include? Don't forget copper pipe, fittings, flues, controls, registering the boiler with CORGI, other consumables (screws, clips, flux, solder, gas, cement etc). Then there maybe the cost of an electrician too. All adds up.
Have to say that Keston wouldn't be my first choice though.

Hi
The flue on these is 2" waste pipe.

I have a Keston and in hindsight it'd be my last choice!
It's fine when it works though ...0
