How much should built in wardrobe cost ?

Hi I am looking at having a custom build wardrobe in white built in my flat on one wall.
It is to have 4 big doors and 4 small doors above them so sort of 2 double wardrobes side by side and 2 very short double wardroes put on top to use the wasted space above tothe ceiling if that makes sense.
Size is 220cm wide by 240 cm tall (to ceiling) . One double section is to have shelves in it, and the other is to have hanging space with 3 pull out drawers for my shoes in it.
How much should this cost roughly ? and how long should this take to make ? I am in West London and live in a flat so have no space in my flat for cutting etc to be done.
I did get someone who said he would make it in 18mil mdf ? but never came back with a quote. Is that the right material ?
Grateful for any ideas.

Have you had a look at what is available at magnet, mfi, b&q etc and if you could use their standard wardrobes with a bit of infill paneling where necessary.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

magnet, mfi and the likes don't do fitted robes tho. they all link together etc but no floor to ceiling - i asked a few months back at mfi.
check in your yellow pages for bedroom fitters - most have showrooms or workshops that you can visit.
one of my bedrooms i got fitted from an advert in the Liverpool Echo!! I obviously visited their workshop but they did a really good job for a nice price so have a look in your local paper too. I suppose you know what you can afford so if they quote more than you can afford ask them to drop the price ie £700's too much but would you do it for £600 for cash??
Also i'm just having another bedroom fitted and got 3 quotes ranging from £1750 to £1340 so its worth shopping around.
For your job i would reckon about £1000 but it would have a proper back on it. My daughter's got a big double mirrored fitment along one of her walls with shelving and rails - that would be soo much cheaper as there's no back to it and you don't have to have mirrored doors.0
