    LAUNDRY- 20
    LIFE INSURANCE- 50

    Total = £2510

    Total incoming

    £2150+£420= £2570
    The £420 is all my partners income shes only partime you see
    The £2150 is my basic wage with no overtime and my Pension already taken out is this ok will they look at my wages for the last few months as i have been getting alot more in overtime but as i mention below this is due to stop

    Also the cars are both needed as we both work shifts and no buses are available

    Does this seem relastic do you think i should do mine and my partners separately or together as above anything else which could be changed or removed the cars are both worth less then £2000 one worth £300 and another £1800 also do they take into account anything in your house? Should i stop doing the overtime to get my income down or just explain that my overtime will stop in January? Do you think it would be worth not paying my creditora at all and saving up the money for rent etc? Probably asked all these before but just making sure. Thanks again for your help

    Something i totally forgot about Child tax credit and child benefit we reciveve in total £100 for the both of them should this be included?

    Yes - you must include the benefits. Although child benefit is not included in any calculation the OR does. I don't think tax credits are either... but will have to check that one.

    Cars. Are they owned outright? One registered each (so one on each BR form?) And they are needed for both of you to get to work? At those values there should not be an issue at all.

    Have you checked out the Parkers guide to work out the value of the cars? The OR will, so your values need to reflect that.

    Not a silly question - the OR will try to understand how you got into the situation you are in. He will more than likely ask what you spent it on. I had remortgaged my house twice in the past 5 years and he asked what I'd spent it on. I honestly couldnt remember to start with then I remembered we did home improvements and business start up/expenses. Basically he will want to see if you were gambling it away or something (if that is the case he may impose a BRO which means some of the terms of your bankruptcy will be extended beyond the 12 months. Don't worry just be honest about the spending and if you can't remember something, just say that.

    Another quick one been to look at a few houses today seen some right trash to be honest i have seen two which are good but both 1000 a month both 4 bed detached in the nice part of town our current property is a three bed semi with a big loft space and in a nice area do you think the OR will knock it back cause its expensive what will he say would it have to come out of surplus if he thinks its unreasonable anyone had any experince the main reason for these houses are they are close to our family and friends for babysitting and things like that i work nights alot aswell so dont want to be in the gehetto there are things alot cheaper but when you look at them you can tell why. Any advice would be great also anyone know of anyone who rents things out in the Hull area could be better to have private tenanent so fair letting agents are being a bit snotty

    Morning Dickoa,

    It really does depend on the amount of your current mortgage plus secured debts etc, and if that £1k is comparable to other rents in the area. If the average rent is £700 he is not going to be best pleased, but if the average is £950ish then he is not going to worry about it.

    TBH, I do not recall anyone ever being asked to move on these boards due to rent costs, but he may well reduce other areas of your I&E to compensate.
