Can anyone remember the name of the game that was kind of a maze game in which the character used to find keys to unlock doors and solve puzzles. All I can remember is that whenever the character lost a life it said something like "combo".
I remember two games like that 'Crystal Frog' and 'The Island'. They were adventure game where you had to type in instructions and unlock and pick up clues. Was it one of theseThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

I am not sure if it was one of those, are there any links for these? That game was very similar to "BugWorld":

Thanks!
I had Paperboy on my Amstrad CPC 6128. That was an amazing computer and very reliable too0 -

I find it incredibly hard to manage to get the shields flashing, not only on the ground floor - where I have to hit the teacher to get on the floor and then hit him again to ricochet on his head and hit the shield - but especially in the first floor class room where it seems I can only reach it by hitting the teacher again when he's on the floor. And all this while not getting caught and enduring Einstein's lies that get me lines!
Far too hard!
Heheheh - And when you've finally mastered Skool Daze...You've got the sequel
BACK TO SKOOL to look forward to (Back to Skool was ranked number 19 in the Your Sinclair top 100 Spectrum Games of all time!) I picked up a cd a couple of years back that had a Spectrum Emulator on it along with about 2000 or so games! I dread to think how many hours I'v wasted since then playing the likes of Horace goes Skiing, Sabre Wulf, Harrier Attack and JetSetWilly II (which I FINALLY completed!)0 -
This is fantastic! I have times when I am virtually housebound by disabilty. This board led me to the freebie download of Treasure Island Dizzy, and now I find a plethora of Spectrum games! I loved my Speccy 48K (I upgraded to the 128K, but it was never the same!).....there are still some old games not on here, but I'm currently enjoying Rainbow Islands and BombJack - brilliant! Thanks for telling me about this!0

Nice resurrection nz - people can still enjoy - thanks! :T
Prinzessilein - this is great site - honestly so much on here (although freebies is my favourite, is only one of loads) and am recently discovering other forums - need never feel bored again and so much friendship - don't know exactly what games you are into but may be worth doing a search. i have built up massive collection to suit everyone from young nephews, teenage nieces to the older ones (ha, ha!) amongst us.
Missed this one nz as was on before i joined so thanks for finding and bumping and thanks ianjamie for original post :T0 -
This is brilliant, well done for finding. Ah nothing like the old days!
