@ reeree - I'm an Atari ST boy and as such must spit at you for saying 'Amiga'! You're highly unlikely to get an emulator inside a browser like this for these computers though, they're far too complex and doing the Spectrum looks like quite an acheivement! For a normal ST emulator (ie a program installed on your computer) goto http://steem.atari.st.
For joysticks, and if you're serious at all about playing these games again, what has been said above, download a real emulator that runs on your computer and not inside a browser. You can set up joysticks in there, save gamestates (ie just dump the whole computer's memory to load later), and do loads of great customisation. Imagine those crappy graphics fullscreen on your 19" LCD!
@command - surely you don't mean Gauntlet?
Just to second the recommendation on the ST emulator - I've had STeem for ages and it's great.
Allows me to relive many, many hours spent playing World Championship Boxing Manager (I know, I know). It's still ace!
In fact, I'm off to play it now!0 -
Oh god,
Having forgotten all about my old spectrum I had to see if I could find treasure island dizzy as I was obsessed with it as a child. I know it was originally for the commodore 64 but it was released on the good ole ZX

Have just spent a frustrating 30 minutes playing it! I'm now having flashbacks of that awful noise when loading the games. 15 minutes of it loading the game, 2 minutes later the damn thing would crash! Oh the memories.0 -
does anyone remember the game on the old spectrum, where you were a robot and going though different rooms and you had different colour pods you had to go onto and different things happened. you also had white lines going either across or up and down. you also had a gas filled room you had to get a ship to get though it.
does anyway remeber it and if you can get it still on the pc0 -

I used to LOVE the Dizzy games...in fact, I dug out our old Mega Drive this week, because the kids have been so bored, and my youngest has been obsessed with trying to complete Fantastic Dizzy!! :rotfl:0 -

Has anyone finished Skool Daze? What do you have to do to win it?
Yep.You have to make all the shields flash to confuse the teachers. Then shoot them with the catapult to make them reveal part of the code. Except the history teacher - you have to write the date of the battle he mentions on his blackboard before class. When he sees it he reveals his part of the code. Then use the code to open the safe and complete the game by putting all the shields back to normal.
Something like that. It's been a while.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Also, please try Cyclone, it's a great game. Man a helicopter and rescue people isolated in islands.
