New front door and frame

I'd really like to replace my draughty wooden front door before winter, I've tried all the draught excluders I can find, but there still a gale blows through it. I'm on a tight buget, who isn't these days, so would love to fit it ourselves. It seems easy enough if I buy a PCVu door and frame together, but is it a lot more complicated than it seems?
