I do find myself wondering whether the government would be better focusing on the many parts of the country where council planners have in the past, and continue to allow development on river flood planes thereby removing capacity to accommodate flood waters and putting more houses at risk of flooding.

I think the councils should get thier act together,dependant on who you speak to in our local council planning offices you get different answers.
