Untaxed vehicle outside - call the police?

There's a car outside with no tax on it which has been driven there. Confirmed as tax expired on DVLA website in July. Worth calling police onto it? Or waste of time and effort?

    Outside where?

And haven't the police enough to do on a Friday night?

If it is there a good few days on, then it might be worth letting them know that you think a car has been abandoned.

Nah it'll disappear with lots of engine revving and horns beeping at about 3am.

Also coming up on askmid website as uninsured but I know how that site can be a bit iffy.

Not with the commotion that's going on outside now. It's like Jeremy Kyle, without Jeremy Kyle, :rotfl:Main concern is some fluid has run down the road from the general vicinity of my car so I wonder if they've poured something on it :(

Sorry to hear that, just hope it's only beer and nothing worse.

Yeah was kind of hoping they'd be too thick to pre-plan a bottle of brake fluid or paint stripper.
