Or you could try Copernic Agent that uses about a dozen browsers at once - Yahoo, Lycos, Alta Vista etc - once it has a list of results, you can download all the pages at once for offline browsing (ok, now broadband is more common, maybe that's less useful)

It's Desktop Search is supposed to be very good as well, but I still haven't tried it yet

Has copernic removed the spyware which used to be embeded into it....stopped useing it about 4 years ago because of spyware and addaware issues...if its "clean" now I might take another look at it

I seem to have their [Copernic] Desktop Search just arrived on a mag cover CD, so I might try it at last ... faster than download (just got message about Adobe Reader update 9MB - not at this time of night)
