If you have the balls, wait until a couple of days before the gig and look on ebay, there's normally a tout or 2 caught with his pants down desperate to sell at any price...Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -

Basically if any of the information they have on ebay matches that given to See tickets, they get cancelled...
so ebay are giving out users names and addresses and email registered with ebay to third parties (ie seetickets), wouldnt each request have to go via the police.
do they tell the person they are cancelling their tickets. hey if anyone has annoyed you put their tickets for 'sale' on ebay with row and seat number and watch them get them cancelled and no refund. surely they need more proof than that.0 -

this is kinda true, i have to say i am kinda glad for touts, i normally forget to try and get tickets (or am not in the loop enough to know when bands i like are going on sale) and if they had all gone to 'proper fans' in the first place i've never be able to go. last time i went to oasis i just turned up the venue and bought some tickets. 70 a peice i think, i guess if we had waited then we could have got them for less but they were standing so we wud have been delayed and ended up right at the back.
i'll never forget having 1 spare ticket for jamie cullum, one of our mates didn't show, i tried to flog it outside the venue (just wanted to get him some cash back and wanted less than face value), we got such insults it was unreal. never doing that again. plus we are girls and obviously not proper touts - they often look like thugs!
the problem i have is that gigs are so far ahead of when they go on sale these days, sometimes up to a year and they are so EXPENSIVE now, you fork out sometimes 60 quid a ticket and if you can't get time off work or for some reason or your leave gets cancelled and can't go then thats it the money is gone for a burton as u cant' sell or return the ticket. i dont see why a site like see cant let u return a sold out event ticket if they can resell at face value. someone else gets to go and you get your money back.
the other thing i dont understand is this tout at oasis had lots and lots of tickets, how does that happen, see etc limit you to 4 per person or cc or address. so how do they get hold of so many??? if the 4 limit worked then touting would die out as no one can make a living off 4 tickets per gig surely.0 -
anyone know what is up with seetickets! the site isn't working WHO ON EARTH has gone on sale today! i have never seen it error like this even when oasis went on sale! i just want to use the tracker!0

Interesting to have a look on GetMeIn now for Friday's gig at wembley:

Looks like there might be a lot of touts losing out!!:p :T0 -
Seetickets have had more on sale today for Bournemouth. It's worth keeping your eyes peeled as there have been some for all venues apart from Wembley over the weekend on there.
Wembley still a bit pricey on ebay although they have started to come down.0 -
Glasgow tickets (standing) available again for face value from official site:
