Ok this is doing my head in and it's probably an easy to fix problem but I can't find the solution. Everytime I shut down the pc it's says there is an update to install but it doesn't install anything. I've been on the microsoft update web page and it tells me there is a problem with installing a specific update. So does anyone know how to get an update that's been downloaded to the PC deleted? Am running XP.
Cheers

Thanks for this geewhiz, I'd resorted to hiding this update as it never installed. Now all installed fine.0
