I have the IDA x001 (old version of the x100) and I wish Id waited!! The x100 looks so much better!!!

I second that - the UK DAB system is now obsolete. It uses an old MP2 codec and requires huge bandwidth, limiting quality and preventing expansion. Only BBC Radio 3 is anywhere near the quality it should be, and even that is reduced when Radio 5 Sports Extra transmits.

DAB+ is being rolled out in other European countries, but serious competition from internet broadcasting is causing delays as arguments take place over where the investment should go.

The current position is that a UK DAB (car) radio is specific to the UK and won't work in most of mainland Europe.
