Is RegCure Compatible with Vista?

Hi

Can anyone tell me if RegCure is or isn't compatible when running windows vista?
I have a Toshiba laptop only a couple of months old running Vista, I downloaded RegCure mainly because I had already paid for the subscription until Feb 2009 via my old Laptop.
New Toshiba has worked fine until today but after running RegCure now having start up problems and a windows screen came up on start up telling me the system was recovering orphaned files.
I am wondering if there's a problem with the laptop or is this something that RegCure has caused and should I get rid of RegCure?

Thanks

Jeff

You need a Vista compatible version because Vista has some registry entries different from XP and if a registry tool isn't Vista compatible, it can delete things it doesn't recognise.

If it asked you to do a backup of the registry then you could use that to put it back to the way it was.

Thanks your advice, too late for me to do that now, I have already uninstalled RegCure.
If I have any more problems will take Laptop back to Curry's and hope for the best, certainly wont mention RegCure!

I know that backing up is a must with PC's/Laptops however I stupidly didnt.

Thanks again for your advice, I will bear it in mind for the future.

You may still have the backed up registry file on your system so if you re-install RegCure you could use the backup.
