ford KA--air vents only blowing in hot air

Hi,
Has anyone got any thoughts on what maybe causing my air vents in my R keg ford Ka to only blow in hot air?
Looked at air filter--this is new
Checked temp of car--normal
Engine not abnormally hot
Correct amount of fluid in engine bottle
Any advise would be welcome.

temperature switch on dashboard.

this is a common fault on this model i beleive.

Likely to be the heater control valve, between the plastic trim and the bulkhead, it fails and stays on either open HEAT or closed only COLD.

It's a straight forward job with a pair of molegrips and a X head screwdriver.

Get the part from Ford costs about £36
