does any one know if it is per person or not
It's not per person, it's per holiday, so 4 berth apartment, you would pay £10 for 4 people :D
  • booked for my mum today to southport its def £10 didnt pay the extra £10 for bedding though she will take her own.

she will go with my sister and 2 children, they went on a freebie to east sussex back in july and although basic the entertainment was great.

lady on booking line was really helpful too and only took a few minutes unlike the freebie one where on hold for 30mins plus!!
  • booked Norfolk - £10....i hope its just like carry on camping
and bend and stretch and pivot and bend and padoing!

    :D

we`ve booked for 22nd sep in southport...im going with my husband and 2 children and my sister has booked to go with her little ones too.....we havent been on holiday together since we lived at home so we cant wait!

for £10 i wont be complaining, we had a lovely time last time we went and yes the sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable but the kids seemed to like sleeping in there so we pushed the singles in the bedroom together and slept in there....it was only somewhere to sleep as we were out for the rest of the holiday.

Have a great time everyone, we`ll see a few of you there!

  • pontins pounds are pontins currency to be used on the park for food drinks etc. we went to camber sands for a week in july and lasted 2 days.

Mmm, this sounds like our trip to Butlins for our first family holiday (after I talked up my visit to Pontins Phwelli (think spelt right, apologies if not) some 16 years ago as an 18 year old) and didn't make 2 days.

Not sure what happened to this Pontins site in Wales as I had a fab time and funfair etc was included in a bargain price, place was clean etc. - had no complaints however the butlins experience has really put me off trying another one like this I'm afraid as it was so disappointing - not the old british family holiday I had hoped!

Hope those that take up the offer enjoy & thks OP for posting.
    Can't resist a bargain!!

  • Hi,

Many thanks indeed OP for this offer. I have just booked Mon 29th Sept for four nights at Camber Sands for £10. When you consider that you get £20 back in pontins pounds when you check in, its such a bargain!

    Many thanks again OP,

    Trevor.

I dunno whether you are allowed to use the pontins pounds for things like stamps. Which they have to sell at face value.

I don't want to put anyone off but we went to Southport pontins last year and it looks like a POW Camp with barb wiring outside. We managed the entire weekend but saw a guy nicking TVs from the chalets and shifting them all into one unit. Some beefy security guys came and managed to escort off site.

Anyways I wouldn't go back again but for entertainment value it was certainly better than watching TV. Best is if you basically have to expect the worse. Then you can't really go wrong. Also, laugh at anything and everything.
  • This offer stills works! - I just booked 4 nights mid week to southport pontins for £10 - and there is still avaliability for the other parks! - get booking everyone. Thanks very much for the code!!!!:rotfl:
