Unlikely to get payment?

I sold a large item on ebay stating collection only due to size and weight, I only had one bidder but i'm happy with the starting bid price - however-

He has zero feedback and lives 6 hours away!

What's my chance of getting payment and him collecting the goods?

I suspect he may have made a mistake and will just ignore my emails now:rolleyes:

you never know, some ppl on ebay are weird. I have seen so many times bids higher than shop prices.

let us know what happens, they might just turn up.
  • The Buyer may work near you.

My b/f works several hours away from his home and had bids removed by the Seller when it was collection only. He has now removed the details of his location so that the Seller can't see it.

I had a buyer travel 8 hours to pick up a huge cuddly toy - for 99p

I've had tons of 'newbies' doing BINs on my auctions and then failing to pay! How irritating!

So what did you do then? Report them as a non paying bidder and relist? How long did you give them to cough up?

Its annoying too when they dont pay you cannot leave a neg now either only get your fees credited back. I get nervous selling when people have zero feedback wondering if it'll come off or not.
