i did my second bootsing shop today, Im such a newbie! I spent 18£ and saved £64 - 126 if u include the price of the No7 bags....not sure if it was a good shop or not, thinking about it there are probably better ways I could of done things - like to get my first pinky i did the BOGOF with the tan maintainer...but Im guessing I just needed to spend £5 full stop to get a pinky...also didnt query the SA when I used a pinky to get nail varnish but wasnt given another pinky - had to pay £1.25. Got the feeling she would of said I hadnt spent enough. Decided to leave it there for the day as I was getting a bit flustered trying to remember all the deals and I felt I'd spent enough money. None of the sales assistants seemed surprised by the deals. When I mentioned not giving me any more coupons cause I just go do more spending one sa just looked at me and said I had a woman with five of them.

Yep, you have to spend 5 pounds in order to get more till spits (or do some transaction where the till sees it as 5 pounds, like when you use non-boots coupons such as Mitchums and the coupon value is counted toward your total spend). You won't get one if you buy the no7 nail polish and use a pinky and buy nothing else. You could get one if you bought other things to bring the spend after using the till spit up to 5 in some way (real cost or using brand coupons). It helps to make lists before you go so you can figure out what to get in your transactions, and even clip all your coupons together in groups of "first shop", "second shop" etc. hth

This made me laugh as took my 74yr old mom 'bootsing' for first time yesterday, with her newly aquired card.
:eek:OMG never again, me and my sister explained stuff about 10 times over and she still didn't get it! AND she kept asking LOUDLY 'so what's with this one then?'
But I think the penny dropped when she got 4x no7 anti ageing stuff and GWP for £4.44 (1/2 price and BOGOF and 10% over 60 discount and £5 pinkie) - talk about grinning like a cheshire cat:rotfl::rotfl:
