Had a couple of shops in Norwich today - must be a few secret bootsers out there as all the "free" stuff with the till spits has been pretty much wiped out!

Castle Mall - got TD eye cream and used till spit and 200 points coupon - lovely SA who even said I'll just check your extra points went on otherwise I'll put them on for you :T Also got R&M eyeshadow brush free with pinkie. They had a few bits reduced in the Rose and Lavender ranges - think it might be aromatherapy stuff? (sorry have had too many beers to get my bum off the sofa to go and check!) Things like a nailcare set for £1.19 and a washbag with toiletriesi n it reduced to £2.50 from £10. Clearance bit by the tills pants - some eyeshadows for £1.50 and some tights for £2ish. No TD under £5 and only about 4 bottles of perfume on sale on a stand in the entrance - can remember seeing DKNY summer and a davidoff one.

Went to the one in London st that someone kindly told me about on the last thread and was gutted to find it was closed on Sundays! Oh the pain of seeing a shiny boots store I haven't been into and the doors are locked!!!

Chapelfield - had a few TD bits under £5 - got an exfoliator and cleanser with till spits. Also got super slim with pinky. they had about 10 more bottles of super slim (£5 each) on the no 7 counter and about 15 rainbow palettes at £4.25 on the no 7 counter.

No mega reductions on perfume although didn't have huge amounts of time to check them all but decided to use up some of my points and get Lacoste Dream of Pink for £34 with free body lotion worth £18.

Am not sure if I will keep this or change it though as earlier in the day I sprayed what I thought was touch of pink on and went off round the shops and then decided to go and buy it but then realised I had sprayed on the dream of pink, so had a hasty spray of touch of pink but didn't like it initially so got dream of pink. But now I am sniffing at alternate wrists and think I like touch of pink better - agh! can you tell I'm not a perume junkie like some on here with fab perfume collections!!! Think I will have to go back to boots and try both again and decide which one to get/keep. Just hope that they still have the free body lotion offer on!

Have to say I didn't like seeing my points disappear when I used them :eek:

Just also wanted to add best wishes and positive thoughts to Pollsdolls - your post the other day made me stop and think about how I view myself.

And SK your stash is awesome!! Had to show OH and MIL! Am glad I can now say to OH well my stash is tiny compared to some people so stop moaning about it

Hi Jax - this is an old GWP from a couple of months ago when the new olay cream came out. I noted that it should have had an extra points voucher in too for Olay but these have been removed. It is a black quilted bag and is filled with minature olay creams and a full size olay cream cleaner so very good value. Eldon square often give these sort of GWP for a £5 spend on ANY skincare so we are lucky geordie girls!:j

I'm a lucky London girl, visting briefly in Geordieland, because I got one of these! I must say I love the Boots stores in Newcastle, apart from the SAs being typical Geordie Lasses, ie very friendly, the products are outstanding. I am going to take the huge Boots store from Eldon Square back to London, am going to pack it in my suitcase.

Do you know I went to Boots in the Metro centre today and they had helpful notices saying, you can buy THIS with your till spit/Pinkie! Well, you know what they say about Geordies.. they are the nicest people and friendliest. How about that, highlighting what you can buy!
I want to live there!

This is the one! Need to find a way to be able to afford to move to NE.... and keep DH happy..... hmmm, Boots can you find me a way please?
