Hi all, a friend of mine is suffering from *really* dry, rough hands. Imagine if you had really rough heels, that's what his hands are like on the palms. I suggested he try Body Shop Shea Body Butter, and I'm going to give him the Boots Expert hand lotion that came in the free tins from a few months ago. Any other ideas? It needs to be something that smells neutral -- nothing girly, lol! And I did suggest he could try an overnight balm with gloves, but he's not keen on that, lol.

    Hi!
Aqueous cream is well worth a shot. It's very cheap, and you can get a big tub for under £3.00 from Boots. It's often prescribed for eczema and suchlike, but you can buy it over-the-counter. My brother's eczema used to respond well to it.
You don't say if your friend has a skin condition with a name, but I really think this will help. It's a petroleum based moisturiser - like vaseline - but nicer to use. Petroleum based products aren't absorbed by the skin, as their molecules are too big to get through our pores, so they work by sealing in the skin's own moisture. This excellent cream works by doing just that. It's white, unfragranced, and looks like regular hand cream. I'd suggest he tries applying this liberally immedietley after washing his hands (to seal in extra moisture). If he does this throughout the day, and then again at night, he should soon see an improvement.
    Best wishes!
    Jenny

Sorry to be a pain but can anyone post the link to mitchum vouchers that are more than one copy on a A4 sheet. As the 50% off one prints at one on a sheet and I really don't fancy carrying a one A4 sheet in my handbag.

    Thanks in advance.

I will glady take any no 7 vouchers or skincare ones off peoples hands if they really don't want them :cheesy: I want to make up a men's hamper. Like sk i raffle them off for charity and am doing a stall soon but i never think of doing a mens hamper so hopefully if i do a few of them i will raise even more money.

Will perfume still be on offer tomorrow? I HOPE so!!! Has Christina Aguilera been reduced most places and still coming with the free body lotion? Has anyone in Aberdeen seen any decent perfume offers in the 2 stores in town?
