  • Hi Everyone

Received some pc vouchers today, there's 750 advantage cards points when you buy any 2 Clinique, Lancome, Estee Lauder and Clarins products, one to be skincare, can anyone tell me the cheapest way to claim these extra points please?

    Many thanks :D

    Hi, everyone,

sanctuary sachets: I've tried to get the Sanctuary moisture boost mask (white) recently and it wasn't scanning. The Charcoal (grey) one is. I cannot find the answer regarding the collagen boosting sachet (white)? Anyone, please?

Also tried to get the sanctuary hand cream and was not able to use the voucher. Some of you had alreayd confirmed for other bits and bobs of sancturary in the toiletries section.

Yep, using the Skincare spit I've managed to get the Sanctuary Charcoal masks x 3 with a small amount to pay, aren't they £1.79 or something.
Also got Sanctuary Collagen Boosting Masks x 2 'cos these ones are £2.50 each.

Think someone (sorry cannot remember now) said they had spoken to a manager at their Boots and it is the other white Sanctuary mask that the till does not recognise. Apparently it should but it doesn't. LOL

I got another £30 love 2 shop vouchers today :D
I'm determined to use them in Boots while we are getting 2 vouchers with £5 purchase. If anyone wants to give me a quick heads up as to the best way to use them to get maximum products for money i'd be very greatful, having vouchers tends to make me think less and just spend!
Which are the best glitches at the moment (my head hurts reading through the many, many pages!)?
Thanks for anyone who has time to help a novice bootser!

Does anyone want a 1500 point oral b for pinkies/till splits please.

I've been trying to trade some for a couple of weeks now with no takers, lol. Looks like No7 trumps oral b for us lot. :rotfl:

And as for the BIRMINGHAM NO7 COUNTER that has customer surveys ready to give out to appropriate customers - someone should def inform CS as that's just cheating - wonder if they've had some negative feedback so have worked out a way to get around it

I think they probably have had some print out and just not given them to the customers they're supposed to be for and are cherry picking who to give them to, which kind of defeats the purpose. May be it was just a one off on that day, but there were about 10 of them there stuck up so I doubt it.

Which Birmingham store, am going up there later will check it out

It was the No 7 counter of the High Street store, stuck on the inside of the till counter on the side of the display that's closest to the big High Street entrance doors. Have a look ;)

  • When using the skincare vouchers, can you buy more than one product to make up the £5? other items i have got have been £4.50ish and i've just bought 1 thing.

Forgotten how to multi-quote (seem to remember it has something to do with ctrl c and ctrl v?) so will just plonk everything down in one post instead of half a dozen and hope that it makes sense :)
I've never known a thread move as fast as this

I'll PM later if that's ok but many thanks for your post #2107. Usually a good Boots shop takes my mind off *everything* so I can only put it down to a temporary glitch and a stuffy store. Good to see that you overcame your problems nevertheless so well done :) x Btw, a wise doctor once told me that if you think you're going mad it's a sure sign that you definitely aren't going mad :D

    Thanks again xxx

hotpot4 (#2095) & *Jelly Tots* (#2115) Thanks, and thanks to anyone else I've missed out. *JT* - I owe you a PM I think ;)

I'm not the best at complaining and have read many cases on these threads where there have been rude SA's. However, in your case, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Customer Services to complain about how the SA acted towards you. It only takes one bad apple and the whole store can appear to be one big barrel of bad apples - something I'm sure that Customer Services would look at seriously.

My OH was refused a magazine yesterday by one SA but the assistant next to her turned on her and asked what difference it made to anyone whether he had a magazine or not. So the offending assistant not only made an enemy (for want of a better word) out of my husband, but an enemy in her co-worker! Karma at work I think.

AB_KW (bless him - not  ;)) is on holiday at the moment but that said, I tend to avoid him anyway lol. Not because I don't like him - he's lovely :) but because now that he knows who I am, and other staff knows he knows who I am (iyswim lol) I'm worried in case the rest of the staff thinks he's giving me any inside info :o (I wouldn't ask either and I know he wouldn't tell but tbh I'd be surprised if Boots Head Office know how these vouchers really work  ) Good to see you posting btw :)

Thanks :) If it's any consolation there's about 5 stores here abouts and haven't seen *one* JK nail file but have managed to obtain 3 x lots of the JK wipes. I don't think Rubes has found any at all  As for SK's haul? I did a double-take when I saw it :D Not because there's so much, it's just that it's all pretty things!

My collection is out of hand tbh, and with these till splits it's gotten worse. OH decided that the Lynx sets were the way to go  but 40 Lynx sets later (and stored in a tiny house) I had to say that enough was enough lol. Now he's taken to buying the half-price (with health club offer) sensitive washing-up liquid, fabric conditioner, and washing liquid! I've no room for it all, but it's a good bargain imo. :)

Btw, if you don't manage to get a gwp while this offer's on, send a PM ;)

Phew .... this has taken me hours and no doubts when I post it there'll be at least another 10 pages to read lol.

    Later peeps xxx

hi , with the tan maintainers i understand i need to get 2 if they are bogof and 4 if half price to get the no7 gwp - please correct me if i am wrong , but where are they in store i cant seem to find them do they keep them in the no7 section or the suntan section ?
also will the sa tell me i can have the gwp or do i just take it to the till ?
also does anyone know if any of the birmingham stores have the TS or the R&M bags as im going there tomo

    TIA

Can't help with the last question but re suncare, the creams are usually in the suncream section aswell as the No 7 section, but the GWP are usually at the No 7 counter and sometimes around the store on aisle ends if they have a No 7 promotion end. I usually go to the sun section to get my suncreams and then craftily pick up a GWP from an aisle end somewhere so that I don't have to deal with the No 7 SA.

If you're going to Birmingham to get these, get the sun stuff from the store in the Bull Ring as they were half price and bogof there last week but were only bogof in High Street. Oh and Bull Ring has SS tills (sorry if someone else has answered this already btw, I'm catching up still) :)
