    Morning all

well i finally made a trip to boots yesterday after about a month of being away and I had a fab shop i think

TS LH shampoo - used H&B coupon
TS LH conditioner - used PC voucher so 0.00 for both items + -£1.98 as its on 2 for £7
    4 x Lynx 3 set - £8
    3 x Elle toned massage thingies - £1.49 each
    3 x sanc Kyphi oil balm thing - £1.24 each (no 3 4 2)
    cotton wool balls 49p
    2 x paracetamol 16p

    Paid £15.02 saved £22.92

So managed to get a couple of bits for xmas hampers for my sisters.

This was in Oxford city centre. They have dead sea sets reduced to £3 and £4.50 i would of got some but i didnt fancy and didnt think my friends and family wanted to smell of ginger biscuits!! elle stuff ruduced, loads of those sanc items left too with teh lavender and damask rose sets reduced.

Also tried to get the R&M eye pallette with pinkie to pay £1 and the till beeped. Was asked to pay at No7 counter but they r evil to me lol so went to pay at perfume and the SA said oh i'm sorry we can't do this anymore. They had a massive meeting saying they were not to accept it as its already 1/2 price. Tills have been set to not accept it as well. Not sure if all stores have had this but boots have cottoned on and stopped it. My OH's sis was lucky she got it monday from the looks of things. (oh if ur lucky to find a SA who will override the till for it theres loads in the drawer of the R&M stand)

I have found the best thing for eye make up is the L'oreal de maq wipes, they aren't cheap but you only need one or two swipes with the wipe and its gone

Thanks Mrsbb..........my eyes are sore at the moment ,from using Essentials wipes:eek: .Will try this and the one Buffybat was talking about.
I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A

Well, i have just had the boots shop of my dreams....I'm just gonna sit down and have a cuppa then I'll post it up....I actually got things I wanted and no just things for the sake of it...my shop(s) weren't for anything special as such but felt like I saved loads :)

I find if you use these wipes, fold it up and place it on your eye for a few seconds, then wipe, then re-fold to get a clean bit, then wipe again it works for me, plus I've been using the No7 [strike]glue[/strike] eyeliner, and it even takes this off :)

    Hi all,
I had a crappy experience today in my local Boots! I got loads of fantastic deals & did 4 shops, but on my last shop a SA (think she was a supervisor!) says something like 'We should bar people like you & I don't think I should let you have another mag' I was so gobsmacked.
Feeling really embarrased to go back in now! :o
It was as if she was paying for my freebies out of her own wages.

That's awful! It is good, though, that she didn't try to actually bar you by taking your account card number and reporting it! She might have been able to get Boots to pull your card. I say this as a word of warning -- avoid that woman if you can (maybe figure out when she is off, like on weekends) or shop a different store. She might report your card in future if she keeps seeing you get bargains.
