Hi Sam  I was wondering where you were. Bet you'll be glad to get that baby out!

You haven't missed any sales in Oxford. They've got a few perfumes 1/2 price in Cowley Centre though.

There's a good glitch on trevor sorbie but none of the stores in Oxford stock the long hair serum that you need for it. And (not a glitch but) there's 2 £5 vouchers when you spend £5 at the moment which are great for getting freebies.

    Hi
Just noticed you are in Oxford, I am visiting there on Sat and hoping to get to cowley centre and retail park ( is boots still there), just wanted to ask if any mags in either?? and do they stock any TS long hair at all in them?? also is there clearance in either??

Sorry for all questions but am only there for day and have a lot of family to visit so need to be quick !!

  • Hi, i have not been bootsing like i should(could) for a while as i have been mending after my operation.
And i spend far too much time comping to keep as up to date on my bootsing.
Well i have begun to run low on some stuff and, I am gonna be an aunty.Yeah.

I was kinda hoping that someone had spare baby vouchers, gave mine away earlier this year.

I am looking for 500 points when you spend x on baby and the free changing bag when you buy nappies.
I am gonna stock up on the baby bits and thought(hoped) someone may have spares.

I would appreciate a pm if anybody has and of course would be only too happy to cover postage.:D

Hi, can you tell me how to do a phone top up in Boots please,

Do i need an e top up card? or can you get e vouchers?

Cant you tell i dont top up my phone very often,:o

I think lots of people have already replied that you can buy the topups at Boots with or without a card. For the voucher, the option in the regular tills (non-SS) is PRIMERS, just in case the SA doesn't know.

Also, this should be the first thing you ask for, since there is an order they need to follow, just in case you want to spend a certain amount, and really need the topup for that total, otherwise they have to void the transaction and do it again. I am not sure if this 100% correct.but so many SA have told me this, that I actually believe it.

On the contrary, once I asked for 2 £5 topups in the same transaction (back in the day vouchers were for £10 spend). The guy did it separately even though I was trying to stop him all the time and saying I wanted 1 transaction, saying he couldn't. He printed the vouchers and that was it!! I was completely , since I really wanted the voucher. He was completely incompetent because you can get as many vouchers as you want in a transaction.

I thought there was a cleaned up version of the 50% that scans. I've found the £1 one ok but not 50%, will try again.

    Thanks

    Hi there

Yes there still is a boots at the retail park, unfortunatly neither cowley centre or retail park stock any TS long hair products, only town stocks the shampoo and conditioner and 1 of the curl conditioners and they normally r out of stock anyway!!

I havent been in any boots for a while but the retail park normally has a clearance section. Its normally behind the tills by the mags and cowley centres is at the back by the batteries

As it is BOGOF and halfprice you still need to spend £20 before the BOGOF kicks in so you will need twice as much to get the GWP. Then you can use your £5 pinkie and only need to pay around £5-6 (depending on what you get of course!)
    Hope that makes sense!
    ;)

So with this instead of buying 2 lots i would need to buy 2 so for example 4 x hair spritz 4 x something else and that would work or 4 x tan maintainers would this work? I dont want to get it wrong?! Are there any mags in the brum stores i think i have asked this cnt remember tho lol!?:j
:jHas saved so much money since joining this forum, thanks to all you kind people out there :j

It worked fine for me - but I don't have Vista.......Some peeps with Vista have been having probs I think, though I think that's been solved now too so give 'em a try and if not someone will be able to advise.

That said, most SA's I've met have been willing to type in the barcodes though so it shouldn't be a problem!
