Morning - anyone out there from North Wales. Any idea if it is worth a trip to Llandudno Boots? Any info. gratefully received.

    Me:j

Yesterday there was no TS Long hair serum , no magazines , no maxfactor gwp, didn't check the TD stand, the No7 had lots of qwp ,the suncare looks like it is still full price and there were no No7 wipes.

No wonder I had a strop and came home with nothing:mad: but ...........................today's another day and all could be different so let me know how you get on.

Edit - they did have Jemma Kidd nail files and wipes but I didn't get any and only a couple of 1/2 price perfumes

Btw all the staff have been lovely in there putting my voucher through.

Hope you have a nice day, now I must get off here and do some work:rolleyes:

Just saw this on hotukdeals, there will be 500 bonus points Saturday for every £30 you spend in store (don't know about online). I know it's not that tempting for most of us, as getting six lots of £5 purchases and getting 12 vouchers for it is better than one measly 500 points, but if you were buying a big item you couldn't break down into smaller shops this is a good deal!

    Here's the original post.

    Hi All

I went into boots this morning to get some more suntan lotion and was going to use both a SS No7 voucher and a pinkie.

Went to a SS till and when I scanned the first voucher, a cashier came over and started pressing buttons. I asked whet he was doing and he said that the till wouldn't allow me to continue to payment until he had put in a code, so I could only use one voucher. Maybe they are on to us.

Hope no one else has this problem

Happy Birthday to the birthday girls, sorry I think I need to take notes/names as I read through the pages.
I can't remember all the names now and I don't have time to wizz back through - MUST do some work or I'll be sacked!

You can get one per transaction. The vouchers do say on them "one per customer", so be careful, but there's nothing on the tills to stop the mag scanning free more than once or to stop the vouchers scanning more than once.

yeah be very careful as i had my second transaction stopped by the manager/cs as td coupon and spend £5 save £1 coupon says 1 per person, also says 1 per transaction, dont know why if its one per person should have 1 per transaction on as one is one isn't it just??

Rang manager at cs who agreed was a stupid thing put on as could go in another day to use one or another store, i think manager winsford cheshire has the hump cos i get few bargains noa and again - well more now than again really

oh latest report on ACM Northwich, been out action (2 machines) for 5 yes thats 5 weeks, no paper yes paper, and another broken????

Got the No7 bronze pallette thingy for £4.50 in Ipswich's little Boots on Saturday :) Well FREE with my pinkie! yay! They also had the lip colour pencil with the sharpener in the box for £4.75 so had one of those as well! I just couldn't resist. I haven't been in Boots since Saturday and I am starting to shake from the lack of Bootsing -I am leaving early today to have a quick look about after work lol!
