I use a Colour Glaze but can't remember the brand at the mo and it's pretty full on with the 'red tint', tbh. I have to scrub it off of my hands with a flannel and I mean scrub it off.
If there's a clear glaze, I'd suggest using that, sweetie (I know there's one in the range I have (which was reduced dead cheap in my local Boots a few months ago, actually). Hope that helps. x(((spoons)))0 -

Get this instead with any other TS product, and you'll get them both for just 1p

Ooh thanks hun, I know its probably REALLY vain of me but my hair is the only thing I really like especially the colour so don't really want to do anything to change it. I don't think I will take the risk which is a shame as I was sooo excited that someone catered for us redheads! How very sad! Ah well, if anyone else has any 'redhead' stories or even 'blonde' and 'brunette' stories, please share! xx0 -
addictedtolush wrote: »Just need to ask another really stupid question (I am on a roll). Does anyone use the TS redhead shampoo or even any of the other 'colour' ones? I really want to try the redhead shampoo, conditioner and glosser but my hair is ginger (mid/dark ginger) and not 'red' and it is natural. I read somewhere that it gives a 'tint' to your hair. Will it make my loverly gingerness a vibrant red? I know I am probably over-reacting but really like the colour of my hair and want it to stay like that so will it change it in any way? There we go.........dumb question I know!!! I know its not a dye by the way, just wasn't sure on the whole 'tint' business!! xx mucho love xx
I wouldnt use the redhead shampoo if i was you on ginger hair...
Although not a dye it does have an element of colour in it, which is RED, My sister uses this on her hair and it really does work, but she is proper Red as opposed to Ginger...
There is another one in the range called Brightening Shampoo and Conditioner, i was reading the label on this one today, and think this may be more what you want, it claims to do what it says on the bottle, it says it takes away the "brassiness" from blonde hair, and puts tone into grey hair, so should imagine it will brighten ginger hair... you can but try.
I should imagine using the Red Shampoo may leave a tint which may last a few washes as your hair is naturally ginger so may last longer than if used on Red dyed hair, as ginger hair tends to be more pourous IFKWIM.
HTHIt`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

This made me laugh as took my 74yr old mom 'bootsing' for first time yesterday, with her newly aquired card.
:eek:OMG never again, me and my sister explained stuff about 10 times over and she still didn't get it! AND she kept asking LOUDLY 'so what's with this one then?'
But I think the penny dropped when she got 4x no7 anti ageing stuff and GWP for £4.44 (1/2 price and BOGOF and 10% over 60 discount and £5 pinkie) - talk about grinning like a cheshire cat:rotfl::rotfl:OMG  the cheshire cat (my mom to) has just asked me to take her to boots again on wednesday, but she promised to keep her mouth shut and not give that great big grin when that price keeps coming down.
sooooooooooo glad i'm back at work:T:T0 -
