OK just been playing with my new purchases and....

erm what eye makeup removers did you all say managed to shift the stay perfect eyeliner????

This is what works for me:

    1) Get two cotton wool pads
    2) Put generous blob of Boots Essentials Cucumber eye makeup remover on each pad
    3) Tilt head back
    4) Plonk pad gloopy side down on eyelids
    5) Press down and leave for about a minute
    6) If you are like me, don't bother standing/sitting still for this time, go and clean your teeth or something, making sure to crash into random bedposts, door frames, wash basins and husbands...
    7) Remove pads and majority of [strike]superglue eyeliner [/strike] Stay Perfect eyeliner should either have shifted or be very easy to shift with your usual cleansing routine :)

    HTH :)

    Night all xxxxx

thanks buffy as i have real trouble getting this off too. Will give that a try as the cucumber stuff is cheap, i hadnt though to buy eye makeup remover as have never used it  I dont think much do I :rotfl:

I really want the autumn palette and eye liner gel probably more after seeing mbb makeup, although i know mine wont quite look like that i would like to give it a go
  • And one last word from me on the subject of Stay Perfect eyeliners...

There was of course the (in)famous time when after 3 days of trying to remove the flipping stuff (before I found the Essentials eye makeup remover)...I resorted to using a SMALL blob of Durex lubricant on a cotton bud to remove it...

    It worked a treat...

Of course I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COURSE OF ACTION!!! :rotfl:

Really off to bed now (once I've kicked Photobox's rear end...trying to put together a small Stylebook and it keeps going wrong *sobs*)

  • Just need to ask another really stupid question (I am on a roll). Does anyone use the TS redhead shampoo or even any of the other 'colour' ones? I really want to try the redhead shampoo, conditioner and glosser but my hair is ginger (mid/dark ginger) and not 'red' and it is natural. I read somewhere that it gives a 'tint' to your hair. Will it make my loverly gingerness a vibrant red? I know I am probably over-reacting but really like the colour of my hair and want it to stay like that so will it change it in any way? There we go.........dumb question I know!!! I know its not a dye by the way, just wasn't sure on the whole 'tint' business!! xx mucho love xx
  • Hi! *waves*

I have been lurking on here for about 3 weeks and got up the courage to try some Bootsing in my small town local boots last week (no R&M stuff/Sanctuary face stuff/gwps/no7 cosmetic bags or anything exciting, really, though) :-(

However, I also tried the King's Lynn branch today, where I got some TS things, some Lyns '3' sets, reduced Damask Rose gift sets and *claps hands excitedly* 2 x tan mainter No 7 things at £10 (but on BOGOF), used a pinky and got a lovely GWP! *claps hands excitedly*

Thanks for all the 'heads up'. I can't work at the moment, due to ill health (Fibromyalgia) but this has meant that I could both start my Xmas gift buying and treat myself to some lovely things. Thank you all! xxx
