I have 2 Roc voucher for £5 off Retin-Ox+ range. It came inside a 12-week challenge box that I got really cheap at the big sale. The barcode is not one of those that has the value at the end... Has anyone tried using one of these for other ROC stuff or more than 1 in a single transaction? TIA

ive got one of those vouchers i tried them on ROC wipes but wouldnt work and after SA read it 7 times said its specific for Retin-ox
    the brown retin ox products.

doesnt work and beeps on white roc products.

Thanks sarah-t. Have just returned from Boots and when looking at the roc stand I noticed they had some retin-ox illuminator (anti-wrinkle natural foundation) with a sticker saying £6 - near sell by date. These were originally £27!! So got 2 and used the 2 vouchers. £1 each and I grabbed a roc gwp with each one. ;)
£6 would have still been a great bargain for these.

  • Thanks hun, you're a star but I live in Southampton so not very near! Thanks sooo much for the offer though. Think I am a little deflated as I was so looking forward to having some 'posh' make-up, doesn't happen very often and I nearly wet myself when I got enough points :o . Am going in to work with my partner tomorrow to try Winchester as the lancome lady on the counter today is always in on a weekend which is the only time I really get in to Town. Hopefully they will be nicer tomorrow! Otherwise I may cry! Thanks again xxx

I live in Southampton too :D and have used points to buy Lancome before and got the GWP (previous GWPs but don't see that that makes a difference). I tried to return a Lancome nail varnish there as it stained my nails (it was the one I bought for my wedding as well) and they were having none of it and just gave me the address of HO to write to (which I did and never got a reply). Anyhow, I digress :o , but you definitely should get the GWP! Just say 'Oh, a friend of mine did and it was fine', that's what I always say!!!

  • Hi all,
Back from Suffolk which wasnt a success as far as Bootsing was concerned...soooooo I went off to Canterbury today and did a few shops. The first one I used the £5 off when you spend £30 and also the skin care spit, ts, 200 points TD I got:

    2 x andrex wipes
    ts thermal wrap
    ts long hair shampoo
    TD wipes
    Egg mayo sandwich
    Oral B electric toothbrush
    Capri Sun
2 mags not HB you know womens mags

Anyways total to pay was £15 something and that was the cost of the toothbrush!!

Did the same shop again but substituted sandwich and capri sun and mags for more andrex wipes and paid £22???

Cant quite work that out. Also tried for the third shop getting the new autumn pallette, some no.7 make up brushes and a no.7 facial sponge thing and GWP but till didnt see both till spit no.7 and pinkie no.7 so had to pay £22 along with the other bits in my basket. I want to return the brushes and the sponge as I only got them as they were kinda sorta gonna be reduced. Will they take them back???

Heads up for Wincheap Boots: Loads and loads of Lavender and Rose gift sets heavily reduced. A manicure set - electric type - down to £4.99 - I bought one. Some Soap and Glory. 1 rainbow pallette. Lots of other bits on clearance that could be useful for xmas pressies.

    Thats all for now.

Happy Birthday Hotpot, hope you had a good day.

Skittifer - Harry is such a cutie and I have voted for him - hope he wins.

    I had a VERY successful shop today, only popped in to use my skincare voucher;

    I got -

    TD cleanser
    No7 anti ageing sun cream 25 x 2
    No7 Cooling aftersun x 2
    No7 GWP

sun stuff BOGOF and half price:j, used skincare till spit, pinkie and No7 till spit

    Total to pay - 50p! :eek::eek:

Hubby was gobsmacked and then proceeded to ask me if I really needed it! D'oh! Of course I need it.

Thanks all you fab people. x
  • I'm really worried._pale_ Last night I was dreaming about bootsing! Can't remember exactly what it was all about, but I know I was trying to use pinky & No7 SS tillspit at the same time, had to argue with the SAs to get loads of bargains, then went somewhere else and lost my shopping bag with all my bargains in it!

I need help. Or maybe I need more boosting? Could dreaming about it be a sign of withdrawal symptoms cos I haven't been near a boots for a week now?

Anyway, I just wanted to echo what a few people have been saying over the past few days. I haven't been a bootser for long, and I don't make an awful lot of posts (anyone who works full time as I do must have the same prob as me struggling to keep up with this thread!) but never have I met such a kind, willing to help, generous bunch of people as you lot. I know some people get annoyed when the lurkers who never contribute take advantage of the thread and overdo certain glitches which results in them being withdrawn, but we're never going to be able to do anything about that, so try not to let it bother us. I don't believe that anyone on here, regular or newcomer, would risk a glitch by overdoing it like that, as we all know how it works. So here's a round of applause for all you wonderful people. Long live the glitches and the MSE bootsers!:T :T :T :T :T

Went Bootsing today & a note to all using SS tills LOOK IN THE BINS

Today I had a very patient SA at the SS tills, 1 till even gave up the ghost & I had to move basket to another. Anyway whilst scanning items I spied the bin which had several spits in, you could see the barcodes. I managed to womble 2 but there were plenty more in there & some on the floor too.
I planned to nab those on the floor but she cleared them away, screwed them up & put them in the bin!!!!!! SCANDALOUS.

I was tempted to ask if I could have them ( root through the bin ) but thought that might be overstepping the mark.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOTPOT

hee hee - I did this today,
I couldn't believe my luck as there is usually an SA patrolling the area and diving right in as soon as someone is finished to bin their discarded receipts. I "dropped" my purse and as I bent down i swiped a few off the floor!
On my way out the door I seen the SA coming in with a hat on - she hadn't started yet. note to self - go in before 10am
