Hello I was just wondering if with the TS PC vouchers can these be used to get the 0.01p deal? Does anyone have any spare mag vouchers for this as i used mine at weekend and there are a few things left that I would like to get..?

Had quite an interesting chat with a friendly SA in Boots Ravenhead Retail Park (St Helens) this morning. She said that when management found out about the TS glitch, they immediately withdrew all the HB mags and were going to throw the whole lot in the skip!! Staff objected so they've left them stacked in the stock room! Strange though coz there's loads of mags left at the Town centre shop (as reported a couple of days ago).

Loads of serum left so I got a 1p serum/conditioner and some TD stuff with the 200 points. Also got the Model Me cond, but the 250 points from mag had to be added manually coz I got the dreaded beep.

She also told me that reducing all the perfume/aftershave was a mistake by head office! Honestly, these people get paid a lot of money for making these mistakes...long may it continue!!!!!

I was also refused the GWP when using my points on Saturday!

However......... I spoke to the (very nice!) Store Manager who said I could spend my points on anything in the store!:T

He then went to "re-educate" the Lancome SA, and told me that I could go and get my items! :rotfl: Which I did!!!

PS I was "spending" less than you - 2 eyeshadows for 2400 points!

Hi all, i've just had a little look through some of the posts related to the Boots vouchers and wondered if anyone could give me a bit of advice please as it seems there are some of you who are experienced now in utilising as many offers as possible and i'd like to do the same. What are the best things to buy (obviously spending as little as poss) with the following:-

2 x £5 No 7/Ruby & Millie vouchers
1 x £5 facial skincare voucher
Vouchers in Boots mag.

what is the best way of getting the lancome gwp in terms of spending as little as possible ?

Went shopping yesterday on fargate and bought 3 mitchums, the total came to £5.09, before i used 3 of the coupons, so i only paid 60p in the end but the sa was so rude, she kept questioning me to where i got the coupons from, then said that i couldn't use them.

When the till spit printed out for face care, she chucked it in the bin, noticed there was plenty pf No7 vouchers in he till, didn't give me one. I was in a rush, so didn't have time to argue with her but should i complain to boots?

I was disgusted at the way she had treated me and she should know the stores policy.

:eek: of course you can have the GWP. I've done this several times with Clinique and even N7. Why should Lancome be any different?
Try a different SA next time, if you can (obviously). And if there is another premium beauty counter, check with them if you would be able to get their gwp with points (you can also ask when their bonus time is gonna be!! and let us know).

Another suggestion: yesterday near closing time, there was no one in the premium beauty counters, so a regular SA will surely let you have the GWP with points, if the lancome lady declines again.

Normally these premium GWP offers have to include a skincare item, but in this case, crazyposhgal reported it was any 2 items. Also lots of people are just getting the juicy lip glosses.

I loved minx01 tale. Ask a senior staff member beforehand.

But obviously the best course of action is to call CS and ask if you are entitled to the gwp. Once they confirm this, no need to beat around the bush.

Ok am v new to all this but been inspired by you guys

Today did 2 shops in Wasall

Shop 1
2 x No 7 Glossy locks - BOGOF - 5.75
2 x No 7 lip and eye shimmer - BOGOF - 5.75
1 x TD Radiance Balm - 6.99
1 x No7 gwp

Then used pinky and £5 off facial care so total £8.79 - got 34 points? Savings £21 and the free gift

Shop 2
1 x Stella McCartney 100 ml perfume - 1/2 price - £17.50
1 x Armani aftershave - 50 ml - 1/2 price - £18
2 x Boots Botanics hair colour - were £1 off I think
1 x Mitchum deoderant - £1 off and used the 50% off voucher
2 x Sure sport deoderant - BOGOF - £1.99
1 x Damask rose gift set - said reduced to £5 but came up £2.50

Used the Bank hol £5 off voucher and the mitchum voucher so total paid £40 and some pence. Got 164 points

Savings £28.50 (but that doesn't include the £18 saving on the Armarni aftershave - so really saved £46.50)

Got 2 more £5 vouchers and 2 more pinkies which I will spend in Brum tomorrow

Am I getting the hang of this
