just gor my 1st MSE bargain...does this mean i now get my membership badge?

Well actually got the following;

XBox Crystal 567/7278
Rainbow game 567/5258
Controller 882/4288
Wheel 882/4367

thought i might try and be cheeky and ask for 2 controllers and 2 wheels.........took it to the checkout, where the cashier offered me either 2 controllers or 2 wheels plus the console and game for the pricly sum of £99

am well happy as at least that is the start of the xmas draw prizes for this years work xmas draw

now just a decent price for the following to get

DVD Recorder
Portable TV/DVD combi
Digital Camera

 As I was walking out of the store, the young man said "Mind yourself there, you've got quite a lot of free gifts you weren't supposed to have".  I just laughed and said thanks a lot. ;D

How can i manage to get a console, game, controller and 2 steering wheels?

On the ticket do i just put the console and the game and then when i goto pay tell em there was an offer to get 2 free steering wheels and a controller?

Also if they ask where i saw this, was there an official place where it was advertised?

this is the way I have done it and it worked for me...
I ordered online a ...
crystal xbox/controller/Halo2 =£112 it will come up at this price online (you can choose different games)
choose the store you want to pick it up, I got mine in Bradford and have just looked and they are all in stock at that store.
Go in with your reservation number, at the till they will hopefully say that you can have an extra game I was offered Driver 3/Hitman Contracts/Rainbow Six 3/and a couple of others I can't remember, then if you are lucky they will also say you can also have a controller for free and then 2 tri-format steering wheels, all at the same online price £112, they do read out the individual prices of Halo/xbox/controller, but don't worry it all reverts to the £112. Hopefully you will get it all, I do know of one store that is aware that these extras should not be given out, just luck of the draw I suppose.

All I did when I went into Argos at the weekend was fill out a little blue slip with the following

567/7287 Qty 1 (that's the crystal xbox)
567/5258 Qty 1 (that's the Rainbow 6 game)
882/4288 Qty 2 (that the additional controller)
882/4367 Qty 2 (that's the tri format wheel)

Because I had written it on a slip the cashier asked if it was a bundle deal and I said I presume so. If she had challenged me on it I was just going to say a friend had purchased it the day before and I had copied the info from her receipt. They will either let it go through or not. If they don't you can always say you don't want it then and walk away.....to the next nearest Argos and try again

Got it, Got the xbox, 2 controllers, wheel and sonic for £99, i also got some batteries to take it over £100 to get a £10 voucher, and the batteries were 100% extra free!

Yes, It still works, but you will have to be quick as they are selling out fast, and Argos have not caught onto this yet in all stores.
