XBOX Crystal & Driver 3 Bundle £99

Thanks talkshop. I went to the Walthamstow shop and got:
XBOX
1 Additional Contraoller
2 steering wheels
1 Driver 3 game

The shop assistant was young and so didnt query anything - I'm sure an experieced person may raise it with a manager.

Well, I went into Argos this morning - armed with the printout of this thread....and I got the following for £99.00

Qty 1 - Crystal Xbox
Qty 1 - Rainbow 6 game (wanted Halo 2 but couldn't get it)
Qty 2 - Additional controllers
Qty 2 - Tri Format steering wheels.

When it went through the till, the operator just said to me "is this a bundle deal or something" and I said "I believe it is"

WOW that seems great! So if i put the quantity for the pads and the steering wheels as 2 each then they will actually go through correctly and get them free? What if i put the quantity for the game for 2?

And how can i get Halo 2 instead of Driver? It isn't listed in the deals ???

I assume Halo 2 wasn't in the deal....I did try for it as I said....but thought "what the heck - go for what you can get  whilst you can get it for £99"  ;D

And yes....all I did was put 2 under the quantity required by the numbers for the tri formal wheel and additional controller. The cashier never blinked at that part.

got mine today too,

i got 2 xtra controllers

and driver 3 game

for 99 quid.

they have 2 offers on the screen the two offers come after one another the staff are only told to use one of the screen offers but can use both if they fiddle around with it. i couldnt understand fully but knew that they have two screens for two offers.

good luck i hope everyone gets one.

it does say "cannot be used with any other offer" on the web site but i think thier system isnt designed to cope with 2 offers conflicting with very small differences.

hey ZAP,

you need to put the xbox no. and the game no. in the ticket when u go to the cashier, then tell them i am meant to get a free controller and a wheel dont go over the top and ask for too many freebies or they'll get suspicious as to why you are getting 4 free items. just try it with around 2 or 3 and see what happens.

I've just had a very pleasant experience at Argos!

I just put the Xbox crystal number in and then it showed like 4 different gifts. It had the list of 4 games first, so i picked Driver 3, then along came an option for a controller and steering wheel. I told him to put 2 for for the controller and one steering wheel. He wasn't sure so he checked in the catologue. He let it through so i ordered another bundle exactly the same, but this time with Hitman Contracts instead because there was no more Driver3s in stock. I went to the collection point and all the ladies were very nice indeed. As I was walking out of the store, the young man said "Mind yourself there, you've got quite a lot of free gifts you weren't supposed to have". I just laughed and said thanks a lot. ;D

So i got:

2x Crystal console
4x Extra controllers
2x Steering wheels
1x Hitman contracts
1x Driver 3

Total price: £198!!

I think i might go back to get some more later this week!

(In case anyone's wondering why i need so many, i sell premodded xboxes!)
