First Class lounges not just for the rich!!

To be able to use a first class lounge in a railway station (should your station have one) you must possess a First Class rail ticket or in some cases, Sleeper ticket. Rather than buy a first class ticket to your final destination, which is expensive! If you really want to use a first class lounge, buy a ticket to the nearest first class destination... For example: My local departure point is Aberdeen. The next station down the line is Stonehaven (which you can travel to first class). To get to use the First Class Lounge, I just buy a one way first class ticket to Stonehaven for £3.25... Much cheaper.... I can use the ticket to travel first class to Stonehaven if I want to, but then of course, I will have to move to standard class to complete my journey to wherever I'm travelling, but I get the luxury of the lounge for a very cheap price!!
