Holiday price matching

Just in case it helps anybody like who is a bit wary of booking holidays on internet. Saw a holiday to Ibiza with First Choice on internet. My wife was wanting to book it through Travel Agent as she feels more secure and it lets us pay it up. Anyway , tried Thomsons (who are basically the same company) and they originally were wanting £200 more but then said they could bring it down to £100 more. So then tried Barrhead travel and they price matched it (knocking £200 off the same original quote that Thomson gave us),so we got the holiday for the price we want through a travel agent. So just thought I would say that it seems to be always good to try independent travel agents when booking holidays.:o

We have a First Choice branch in our nearest small town and they are quite happy to match internet pricing for First Choice holidays (and may possibly price match for other TO's its just at the time I was discussing FC packages with them).
