    Nothing for a penny today but I did get a pack of two frying pans for 72p and a round flush fitting light £1.75

    They wer piling all the 1p stock onto a large trolley, grabbed 28 packs sponges, 43 triple pack air fresheners and 17 pan brushes.

    And what will i do with them?
    I'll happily give them to family and friends FREE!

    I think the post ben500 was referring to has been deleted by the ever vigilant moderators. Maybe ben500 can update the post to avoid anybody else scratching their heads over the post.

    There was a Tesco employee (won't name them personally but there is a clue in there somewhere) who seemed intent on upsetting ordianry MSe'ers with derogatory comments.

    Other employees offer helpful friendly and fun advice this one just wanted to close down the Tesco threads.

    It seems their posts have been removed.

    In another store they just go through the till at that price.

    There are sponges, brushes, sock wash things, air freshners etc etc.

    The BOGOF is an added bonus.

    Basically they are trying to clear space for the Seasonal stuff.
