mate in work has one, the 6th and seventh seats occupy the boot space
wouldn't fancy your chances of getting 2 adults sitting beside each other in those seats unless they have wee legs..............plus you have next to no boot space with all seats in
best idea is to see one at a dealers and see the space for yourselfNorn Iron Club Member #64

I have a Zafira it's 7 seats, not bags of leg room in the back 2 seats but ok for a child so you could have 2 in front 3 in back (you get a proper belt in the middle seat) and the child in the very back. This always works for us. HTHSometimes, when one person is missing, the whole world seems depopulated. ~Lamartine0

I have one. I dont think its ideal for 5 adults. The boot seats are great for kids but very awkward for adults to get in and would be squashed. I wouldnt fancy squashing 3 adults in the middle seats either.May £10 a day challenge£19.61/£310Ebay challenge...£12.61/£2000

Hi
Thanks for the reply's, is there any other one that would be better, about the same price to hire , dont need any boot space
Thanks for advice0 -
If you have 3 skinny adults, the middle row will be sufficient, otherwise they may be a bit squashed. I suppose it also depends on the time spent squashed up and how well the adults know each other!0

Hi
adults will be in the car for a 7 hour journey, so including lots of stops i would assume a journey lasting 10 or 11 hours. Adults are 2 thinish 6ft 2 men and 1 small lady , do you think this is not the right car to hire
thanks0 -
Not for 7hours! My colleague just bought a Grand Scenic and says he likes it because the boot seats have the same leg room as the back seats. Not seen it though so cant comment. Maybe go to a nearby showroom and take a look?May £10 a day challenge£19.61/£310Ebay challenge...£12.61/£2000

We are on our second zafira.
I like driving it cos its not too big, but handy to have the 7th seat.
I think it would be alright to use for your journey, however as others have said may be a bit cramped. if they are not much dearer you may be better with a ford galaxy which has more space.Money SPENDING Expert0 -
Or a Citreon C4 Picasso, front and middle seats are really roomy, and back two aren't too bad. I'm 5'7" and have been quite comfy back there.:beer:0

My husband is 6ft 2 and he couldn't fit in the most rearward seats in our Zafira. The seats are also quite tricky to get into unless you are a child. We had 2 8yo in those seats for a smilar journey and they were fine. The middle row was 3 seats but the middle seat was small so having 3 people across there was a bit of a squeeze unless they were small.
We swapped ours for a Ford Galaxy, much roomier with 3 full size seats in the middle row and the same in the back with much better legroom. The 3 middle seats are also independant so you could leave a seat out if you wanted to so you wouldn't need to lever seats forward to get the most rearward people out, The Zafira had a 2seater bench and a single seater so if you needed to fit a child seat make sure it isn't on the single seat as then that'd have to be removed everytime you wanted access to the most rearward seats
If you are looking for a more comfortable journey I'd say go for a bigger car then the Zafira. We wouldn't go back to a Zafira now we've had a Galaxy0
