I love apricot crumble, must admit I use tinned ones in juice sometimes for quickness
  • thanks everyone

i have no idea why i hadnt thought of using tinned fruit

i had looked at the ready made pie fillings and refuse to go down that route - but canned fruit doesnt feel so much like cheating and its cheaper.

    so thanks again
    lots of ideas now

Im off to get the pastry made.

Is it possible to make pineapple crumble with fresh pineapple and if so, does anyone have a recipe? I did search for a recipe but the search did not find anything! I have a fresh pineapple in the fridge and would make it this evenig if I had a recipe and of course if I had all the ingredients in the cupboard.

Anyone point me in the right direction or give me an EASY recipe?
